Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and self-driven Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This is a self-starter role, intended for someone who thrives on taking full ownership of social media strategy, content creation, and community building. You will be responsible for driving sales growth and increasing brand engagement through innovative social media initiatives, with the support of high-level goals and resources.

This position requires an individual who is proactive in coming up with new ideas to drive revenue and build community engagement, while consistently elevating our social and branded storytelling for all Kiefer Aquatics and The Lifeguard Store social media accounts.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of social media content creation and engagement strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the marketing teams to develop and execute impactful social media strategies that align with our brand's      objectives and values.
  • Develop and manage content independently, while also incorporating local store content and coordinating store takeovers for relevant events like swim meets and trade shows.
  • Manage social media assets, provide content support, and engage with users on all social platforms.
  • Own the entire process of weekly social media posts and stories, from planning to execution.
  • Continuously track and analyze competitors, hashtags, user-generated content, and potential paid partnerships to identify new      opportunities and maximize engagement.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly analytics and reports on performance, sentiment analysis, key topics, and audience engagement.
  • Stay on top of social media trends and industry developments to proactively implement innovative strategies.
  • Provide support to the marketing team in other areas as needed, including email marketing and YouTube video management.
  • Previous experience as a swimmer or lifeguard is a plus, but not required.

  • Consistently produce engaging, dynamic content daily through posts and stories.
  • Increase consumer engagement and generate user-generated content across accounts.
  • Drive website traffic and revenue growth through social media channels.

Experience & Attributes / Candidate Profile

  • 1-2 years of experience in social media content creation, including photography, videography, and graphic design.
  • Proficient in content creation tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or other creative programs.
  • Strong knowledge of social media best practices and content styles for Facebook, Instagram, and ideally TikTok.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, with an entrepreneurial spirit and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment while taking initiative and working independently.

Compensation & Benefits

Role compensation includes annual base salary + bonus incentive based on performance targets that will be established.

Working Conditions

Remote role setting with some travel required. Company will provide necessary tools / equipment to execute role.


Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions the job advertised.

· Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and viewing computer monitors.

· Travel to attend select Trade events and other meetings as needed.


Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with typical work hours of Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but may also involve weekends or “after hours” work when traveling, meeting with customers, trade events and completing work as needed in a timely manner.
