Job Summary: The Channel Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding ISG’s network of channel partners to drive revenue growth and strengthen our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MSP sales, channel management, and partner relationship development, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through indirect sales channels.

In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to align sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and ensure the successful execution of channel programs. You will play a key role in fostering long-term relationships with partners, providing them with the tools and support needed to succeed, and driving the adoption of our services.

You successfully fulfill the following essential duties and responsibilities:

You will provide STRATEGIC OVERSITE to the position by:

  • Analyzing market trends, partner feedback, and sales data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive channel strategy & program to drive growth and meet company objectives.

You will utilize your ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS to efficiently:

  • Gather the data and reports necessary to manage the channel and your deliverables. 
  • Maintain a department and individual scorecard to measure appropriate KPIs that will deliver upon organizational goals & objectives.

You will utilize your SALES ACUMEN to drive sales by directly participating in the sales process through:

  • Identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new channel partners.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and mutual success.

You will use your COLLABORATIVE SKILLS to:

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including marketing and sales teams, to design and execute joint go-to-market initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Report regularly on partner performance, market trends, and sales metrics to senior management.

You will use your TECHNICAL SKILLS to:

  • Provide training, support, and resources to partners to ensure they are equipped to sell and implement our IT solutions effectively.

You will use your LEADERSHIP SKILLS to:

  • Monitor and manage partner perform
  • Develop, implement & execute the channel revenue plan to ensure revenue goals are achieved. 
  • Make recommendations to the overall channel strategy, implement strategy and provide analysis for changes

Requirements

You will meet the following educational, licensing, certification and work experience requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is desired. 
  • Proven experience in channel management or sales in the IT industry typically obtained in 5+ years.
  • Strong understanding of IT products, services, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license; driving record must meet the criteria of ISG’s insurance carrier for acceptance of coverage.
