Position Overview:
We are seeking a contracted Nurse Practitioner to work with our team on a flexible, per diem, or short-term basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. You will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while contributing to a positive work environment focused on wellness and team cohesion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Perform comprehensive physical exams, diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic conditions. Provide follow-up care and collaborate with patients to develop effective treatment plans.
• Clinical Support: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient education on health and wellness topics.
• EHR Management: Accurately document patient encounters in the AdvancedMD EHR system, ensuring timely, thorough, and compliant charting.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, medical assistants, and other providers to coordinate care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
• Telemedicine: Provide virtual visits, when applicable, using secure telemedicine platforms to extend care to patients who may not be able to visit in person.
• Patient Education: Empower patients to make informed decisions about their health through education on conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
• Billing & Documentation: Ensure all necessary documentation is completed according to billing and coding guidelines for proper insurance reimbursement.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting preferred.
• Biligual Spanish and English
• Licensing: Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nevada.
• Certifications: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (ACNP, FNP, or appropriate specialization).
• Technical Skills: Experience using AdvancedMD EHR, or familiarity with other EHR systems preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with patients and team members.
