All other states: Minimum $59.00/hour – Maximum $71.00/hour

This is a remote, full-time, 3-month, non-exempt position which reports directly into the VP, Workforce Development & Initiatives who is based in Milpitas, CA.


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product-Market Fit Analyst for a three-month engagement to conduct market validation for an existing SEMI education product. This role combines market research with practical product validation strategies to ensure our educational solutions align with the diverse needs of the global semiconductor industry, with particular emphasis on the Indian market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct global market research and analysis to validate an existing SEMI University business, with a specific focus on India’s semiconductor education landscape.
  • Design and execute TAM, SAM, and SOM analyses to identify regional and global market opportunities.
  • Develop and validate hypotheses about market opportunities through primary and secondary research, including engagement with stakeholders in India and other key markets.
  • Create and implement customer development strategies to validate product concepts with SEMI members and other industry stakeholders across regions.
  • Design and oversee minimum viable product (MVP) experiments to test market assumptions in international markets.
  • Synthesize SEMI member feedback and market data into actionable insights for product development or pivot.
  • Collaborate with the product team to translate insights into feature requirements that address both global and region-specific needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with SEMI members and key stakeholders, particularly in India, to gather ongoing market intelligence
  • Engage with SEMI working groups and international committees to understand evolving educational requirements across countries.
  • Create detailed market validation reports and presentations for executive leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product-market fit validation, preferably in education technology or B2B software.
  • Proven track record of successfully validating and launching educational technology products in international markets.
  • Experience with market sizing and opportunity assessment in technical or professional education markets, with exposure to India’s market landscape.
  • Strong background in customer development methodologies, including customer interviews and MVP testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute comprehensive market research analyses.
  • Expert knowledge of product validation frameworks and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and market intelligence synthesis.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills to convey insights to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry or related technical fields.
  • Track record of identifying and validating product-market fit in global markets, particularly India.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree in business, marketing, or consulting.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and educational technology platforms.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor industry trends and global workforce development needs.
  • Previous success in launching B2B education products internationally.
