Job Description

A Team Leader in the healthcare revenue cycle management or RCM team will perform the following duties:

  • Fair understanding of claims submission(Electronic & Paper).
  • Hands on experience on working on clearing house rejections/ system edits.
  • Eligibility verification through payer web portals.
  • Clear understanding of charges/CPT/Dx & Modifiers.
  • Guide a dedicated team of Representatives, providing clear direction, instruction, and motivation.
  • Drive the team to achieve critical results that align with organizational and business objectives.
  • Leverage your understanding of individual team members’ strengths, weaknesses, and motivations to maximize team performance.
  • Oversee task completion and ensure the achievement of desired account outcomes.

Job Requirements

A successful Team Leader for the healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) team will require the following qualifications, experiences, and skills:

  • SME and above level are eligible to apply for TL.
  • A bachelor’s degree is desired, preferably in a healthcare-related field.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • High energy, passion, and a proven track record of meeting quotas.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • At least two years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in revenue cycle management (RCM) within healthcare.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and compile reports.
  • In-depth understanding of performance metrics and excellent decision-making skill
