We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and experienced individual to take on a multifaceted role for our Trulla Procurement software. This role is crucial in steering the product vision, managing the product lifecycle, ensuring quality, and leading the development team through Agile practices.

Responsibilities: 

Product Leadership:

  •   Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the most valuable features and requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key liaison between the development team, stakeholders, and users to gather feedback and refine product requirements.
  • Acceptance Criteria: Define clear acceptance criteria for product features to guide development and ensure quality.
  • Sprint Planning: Participate actively in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to ensure the team understands the product objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand user needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain the product roadmap, aligning short-term needs with long-term goals.
  • Feature Development: Lead feature prioritization, ensuring each feature adds value and aligns with the product strategy.
  • User Experience: Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the product interface is intuitive and meets user expectations.
  • Performance Metrics: Define, track, and analyze key metrics to measure product success and user satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure product messaging and support are consistent with product offerings.
  • Launch Management: Oversee product launches, including go-to-market strategy, training materials, and customer communication.

Development Team Leadership:

  • Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Agile Coaching: Coach the team in Agile practices, helping to remove impediments and facilitate a smooth workflow.
  • Team Performance: Monitor team dynamics and productivity, promoting continuous improvement in team processes.
  • Accountability: Hold team members accountable for their commitments and help resolve conflicts or blockers.
  • QA Involvement: Participate in defining and executing quality assurance processes, including planning, executing, and evaluating testing strategies.
  • Bug Tracking: Manage the defect tracking system to ensure all issues are addressed before release.
  • Quality Standards: Work with the team to maintain high-quality standards and ensure the product meets both functional and non-functional requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Team Accountability: Ensure that all team members are clear on their roles, responsibilities, and deliverables, maintaining accountability for deadlines and quality of work.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members, fostering skill development and team growth.

Desired Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, and Scrum Master, ideally within SaaS environments.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and software solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, with certification (e.g., CSPO, CSM, PMP) being a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with an ability to interpret complex data sets and user feedback.

Evaluation and Process Improvement:

  • Annual performance reviews will be conducted along with goal setting.
  • Provide recommendations on process improvements.

Job Location: 

  • Remote office
  • Travel expected at least once per year for an onsite company meeting with possible additional opportunities consisting of onsite client meetings and/or conferences.
