About the Position

  • We are looking for a social, creative, passionate, and experienced Senior Partner Manager to drive growth through strategic partnerships within the video game industry and provide mentorship by sharing knowledge and best practices with team members.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing relationships with partners, identifying their needs, securing new opportunities and negotiating partnership agreements. 
  • This role will also be responsible for managing ongoing partner communication to ensure the success of our business objectives and supporting partners in achieving their goals for mutually beneficial growth. 
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, and a proactive mindset to navigate the dynamic landscape of the video game industry and maximize growth opportunities through strategic alliances.
  • Experience attending industry events is a pre-requisite

Responsibilities

  • Use all tools at your disposal to communicate and track internal and external conversations 
  • Proactively seek out opportunities for strategic alliances and partnerships which align with the company’s business objectives.
  • Lead all aspects of the partnership process, from cultivating relationships to structuring and closing deals.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to expand network and identify new partnership prospects.
  • Maintain consistent communication with partners to strengthen relationships, understand their evolving needs, and provide ongoing support to maximize success.
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance metrics to evaluate success and identify opportunities for growth, sharing insights with leadership to inform strategic decisions
  • Develop strategic initiatives and collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product) to optimize partnership effectiveness through tailored campaigns, co-branded content, and promotional activities
  • Exercise creative freedom to generate new ideas and strategies that enhance lead conversion and revenue growth

Requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in partner management role within the video game industry, with a focus on strategic alliances and growth
  • Strong existing network and relationships within video game industry, including content creators, publishers, and related organizations.
  • Proven track record of successfully prospecting, negotiating, and closing impactful partnership deals.
  • Experience managing CRMs to track and analyze partnership activities.
  • Ability to analyze partnership performance metrics and use data-driven insights to make strategic decisions and drive improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong long-term relationships.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while also effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive partnership initiatives forward.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on partnership opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel as required for meetings, events, and conferences.
  • Bonus: Additional language skills (e.g., German or Spanish).

  • Experience with contract negotiation and deal structuring.
