BUSINESS MANAGER & RESOURCE ROOM MANAGERFULL TIMEFY 2025-2026Cherokee County, GA


Cherokee Classical Academy seeks a full-time Business Manager and Resource Room Manager. This position is responsible for supporting the Head of School in all things related to financial budgeting, purchasing, and reporting, and the management of the resource room, curriculum materials, and classroom supplies. This position reports to the Head of School on Cherokee Classical Academy’s Cherokee County campus. 


The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain the school's budget for curriculum materials, textbooks, and office supplies
  • Responsible for sourcing and purchasing all school curriculum materials, textbooks, and office supplies at the request of academic leaders
  • Gain approval for and executes purchase orders with publishing and office supply firms
  • Manage the school's support hub for teachers; streamlines office work flows and curriculum orders
  • Manage forms and payments for clubs and extracurricular activities
  • Engagement between school leadership team and charter school management organization (Liberty Classical Schools) Finance and Human Resources departments. 

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Two or more years of related work experience required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills required
  • Ability to balance multiple projects across multiple departments
  • Experience working in education or a charter school system is strongly preferred but not required

About Cherokee Classical Academy:


Cherokee Classical Academy (CCA) is a tuition-free public charter school set to launch in Cherokee County, GA. It will open for grades K-6 in the 2025-2026 school year and will continue to add a grade each year until reaching a full K-12 configuration. Families who reside in the counties of Cherokee, Cobb, Bartow, Fulton, Pickens, Paulding, and the cities of Marietta, Cartersville, and Atlanta are eligible to apply for enrollment.
