Arbill Industries, a mid-size PPE Distributor, is looking for an ambitious Business Development Representative to join our team. The Business Development Representative is responsible for growing Arbill’s overall sales by attracting new clients. This is an entry-level position with significant growth potential. Over the first 9-12 months (or longer), you’ll focus on building prospects and creating opportunities for our Senior team members to close. You’ll gain valuable experience and develop essential sales skills as you learn from the best. As you succeed in developing leads, you will progressively take on more responsibility, eventually transitioning into a full-cycle sales role. By the end of your first year, you will have the opportunity to close your own deals and oversee the entire sales process.
Duties include:
· Support Sales by facilitating and partnering in prospect nurturing, blueprinting (identify interest/needs), discovery/identify, demo tech if appropriate (vending/trusense) and ultimate pipeline creation.
· Generate leads; Attend trade shows and events, work with marketing, work with industry partners, etc.
· Review weekly and monthly reports.
· Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
· Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
· Maintain client records.
· Answer client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.
· Use CRM tool, Rhythm, and Qlikview software to report and track client status, opportunities, and wins.
· Maintain customer satisfaction with quick client response and follow up. Proactively communicate on a regular basis with clients to provide advice and solution(s).
· Utilize our Safety Review process to identify opportunities for improvement with both potential and current clients to create safer workplaces. Analyze, evaluate, review information, and strategize.
· Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price, schedules, and discount rates.
· Organize and work towards delivering effective sales presentations to clients and prospective clients.
· Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
· Monitor and evaluate market and product trends.
· Work closely with VP of Operations with respect to vendor relations and coordinate new product penetration with sales team.
· Build collaborative relationships with clients, engage active listening and adapt messaging of Arbill capabilities to achieve a long-term win/win solution.
· Expand safety knowledge by pursuing ongoing training to deliver best-in -class safety solutions
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree
· Extroverted, dynamic, people-oriented personality
· Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
· Travel approximately 5-30% required as role develops
· Strong technology skills
