JOB PURPOSE:
To efficiently manage overall organizational strategic planning and implementation. Included but not limited to new site development and training, grant operations and reporting, outreach, partnership management and programming.
To ensure development, implementation and evaluation of high-impact programs, effective program marketing and member recruitment, safe facilities and procedures, and effective community involvement.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Member Safety - includes but not limited to the following requirements:
Ensure member accountability is accurately maintained at all times.
Ensure Club equipment is in good condition and staff are instructed in its proper and safe use.
Ensure that members and staff know what to do in case of an emergency (fire, severe weather, violence, contamination, etc.).
Ensure members are properly supervised when being transported or when walking from one place to another.
Ensure that all potentially harmful objects, chemicals, cleansers and substances are secured away from members at all times and properly labeled.
Ensure that all incidents and accidents are reported and documented as soon as they occur and that the proper paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner. 7. Communicate in a timely way all concerns regarding the safety and welfare of members. 8. Contribute to ensuring that emergency equipment and supplies are maintained and readily available.
Staff Supervision, Management and Development:
Oversee Membership Coordinator to ensure they are performing their job responsibilities according to their job description, BGCFW Policies and Procedures, and State and Federal regulations.
Ensure staff understand and are capable of performing their job responsibilities.
Help staff develop and improve their skills and knowledge of their job and hold them accountable for reasonable improvements over time.
Ensure performance reviews are conducted by the appropriate supervisors/managers of their employees during the month in which it is due and that an Individual Development Plan is developed and implemented for each employee.
Perform immediate redirection/correction/coaching of staff when needed to correct or improve staff performance.
Assure that proper and correct documentation of any disciplinary action is completed on time and submitted to Human Resources.
Ensure staff complete training and evaluations as required.
Ensure employees clock in and out in real time according to Club policy. 17. As much as possible, be aware of the needs and concerns of the staff.
Ensure that Membership and program staff maintain an orderly and clean Club appearance at all times.
Ensure the ongoing development of quality, motivated and responsible staff and volunteers
by:
Ensure Club activities are implemented by Program staff according to the program schedule.
Ensure the development of Program staff with training opportunities and monitor subsequent implementation and utilization.
Ensure each staff demonstrates proficiency in their job responsibilities. Program Development & Implementation
Ensure BGCFW has effective programs that are attractive to kids and teens, is safe and outcome-driven, and focuses on quality standards.
Ensure utilization of Boys & Girls Clubs of America programs as well as best-practices and resources from other youth development organizations.
Execute evaluations and impact assessments as required internally, by Boys & Girls Clubs of America, funding sources and program collaborations.
Ensure that membership data is accurately collected and reported on time.
Oversee partnerships, community relations and stakeholder relationships;
Participate in the direction and oversight of special programs and initiatives.
Participate in program funding opportunities, involvement with research, proposal development and application, and reporting as appropriate.
Provide fundraising support and implementation as appropriate.
Administration: Reporting, Documentation, Meetings:
Ensure all member tracking, attendance and reporting is current, accurate and correct.
Ensure member records are organized and maintained according to member SOP.
Work strategically with operations staff for membership recruitment and retention. 35. Report any suspected abuse asap to the Director of Operations and CEO.
Complete required documentation and reports as specified in policies and procedures and as directed. These must be complete, correct, accurate and on-time.
Provide other administrative paperwork, reports and information in a timely manner as required or requested by Human Resources or other BGCFW Management.
Participate in member supervision meetings, staff training, team meetings, monthly all-staff meetings and other staff meetings as required.
Oversee and assist in the implementation, reporting and applications of multiple funding sources.
Attendance and Work Location:
Arrive at work on time and be ready to work at the start of your scheduled shift.
Leave work only at the end of your scheduled shift and not before.
Notify your supervisor and other appropriate staff in a timely manner if you will be late, need to leave early, or will be absent.
Driving BGCFW Vehicles:
You must have a current Indiana driver's license.
Follow the BGCFW Drivers Guide at all times.
Ensure that all occupants in the vehicle wear seatbelts at all times and that they are secured before moving the vehicle.
Ensure that the vehicle is safe to drive before moving it.
Ensure that the vehicle is clean inside and outside and that all glass has clear visibility for safety.
You must not operate any BGCFW vehicle if under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs or any other mind-altering substances including prescription medicine.
You must not text in the vehicle while it is moving or stopped at a traffic light or stop sign.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Represent the organization when appropriate.
Develop and manage collaborative partnerships.
Support and maintain high impact programs and events.
Ensure BGCFW responsiveness and responsibility to partnerships for joint planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting.

OTHER DUTIES:
These may include participation in special programs and/or events, and travel to outside events or other Club activities.
Work with administrative staff in creating and sustaining program marketing activities, recognizing program success and member achievement and extending appreciation for funders, donors and program partners.
Be involved with ongoing BGCFW strategic planning activities.
Organization and planning of event/fundraising support and implementation. Expectations regarding the performance of “other assigned duties” is based on the BGCFW ability to reasonably accommodate such expectations without jeopardizing the consistent achievement of the Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Legally eligible to work in the United States.
2. At least 20 years of age.
3. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a youth development-oriented field, with advancing business/organization management experience; or, a degree in a business- oriented field with advancing youth development program management experience.
4. Must have proven experience and working knowledge with managing financial resources, community relations, records, properties and personnel, as well as being able to demonstrate competencies with technology, word processing, databases and a command of business writing. 5. A valid Indiana driver's license and be able to drive an automobile.
6. Reliable transportation to and from work, to program locations, and for activities such as meetings, classes, and workshops in and out of the area.
7. Pass a criminal records background check and a 10-panel drug screen.
8. Maintain current required training certifications.
9. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
10. Maintain emotional self-control when under personal stress.
11. Accurately assess situations, solve problems, work effectively under stress, within deadlines, and in emergency situations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
12. Ability to adapt to inclement weather conditions and/or situations.
13. Ability to move easily across a variety of indoor and outdoor surfaces.
14. Possess the speech, vision and hearing functions necessary for the direct supervision of staff and to respond effectively to emergency situations.
