Job Title: Water Safety Field Technician, Northeast Region 

Location: New York City 

Reports to: Technician Manager 

FLSA Status: Full time, non-exempt

Responsibilities

  • Travel within New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland 
  • Company expenses incurred for travel are reimbursable.  
  • Working with client facilities teams to maintain equipment. 
  • Maintain relationships with client teams so they know their patients/tenants have the best water disinfection & service crew on the market. 
  • Draw water samples for lab testing and maintain accurate chain-of-custody to make sure their water is bacteria free. 
Requirements

Requirements 

  • A vehicle for travel 
  • Reliable, flexible, and punctual.  
  • Knowledge or experience with plumbing systems (specific licensing not required) 
  • Experience working with your hands and hand tools in construction or maintenance capacity. 
  • Able to work in a mechanical room (noisy and sometimes warm environment) 
  • The ability to work quickly and confidently with little to no mistakes.  
  • Honesty, integrity, and the ability to pass rigorous background checks required by our clients. 
  • Ability to communicate in person, over phone, and in email and instant messaging to colleagues and customers. 
  • Preferred, not required: Customer service experience. 
  • Preferred, not required: Prior maintenance, construction or plumbing training. 

Physical demands 

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and use hand tools. 
  • Ability to travel/work on feet for 8 hours a day. 

Supervisory Responsibility 

This position has no direct reports.

Salary Description
$26.00/hr+
