Position Overview:
Are you passionate about rubber formulation and material innovation? Or interested in learning more? We are looking for an R&D Compounder – Rubber & Polymers to join our team and play a key role in the development and production of rubber compounds used in hose manufacturing.
In this role, you will be responsible for formulating and refining rubber compounds, mixing raw materials, and ensuring quality control throughout the compounding process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of material properties, mixing techniques, and safety protocols, with a keen eye for precision and consistency.

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 1-hour lunch break
Compensation:
- $20.00 - $24.00 an hr. ($41,600.00 - $48,000.00 annual)
Key Responsibilities:
- Weigh, measure, and mix raw materials according to precise formulations.
- Operate lab mixing equipment and monitor batch consistency.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
- Conduct quality control tests on raw materials and finished compounds.
- Maintain accurate records of batch production and material usage.
- Troubleshoot and adjust formulations as needed to meet production standards.
- Work closely with the quality and R&D teams to improve formulations and processes.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Understanding of material properties, chemical compositions, and batch processing.
- Ability to operate industrial mixing equipment and follow safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience in rubber compounding, polymer mixing, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods in a production setting.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating ingredient quantities.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to handling raw materials and operating machinery
