Description
An Electric Motor Repair Technician with Air Hydro Power will troubleshoot and diagnose AC & DC electric motor repairs, and identify the parts required for the repairs. Additional responsibilities are as follows:
- Disassemble, and inspect AC and DC electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and more
- Troubleshoot and diagnose the repairs that need to be made, and the parts required for the repairs
- Perform incoming and outbound testing including meg ohm, surge test, and test running the motors
- Troubleshooting, assembly, and test running repaired equipment
- Ability to operate overhead hoists and drive a forklift
Requirements
Skills/Abilities-
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and safety protocol.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical Aptitude strongly preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
- Valid driver’s license.
Education and/or Experience-
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Related experience and/or training are strongly preferred.
