As an Electronics Assembler, this role is responsible to assemble, disassemble, and repair electronic assemblies in a flexible manufacturing environment in accordance with standardized processes, procedures or methods. This position may require frequent movement throughout the manufacturing operation.


Key Job Responsibilities: 

  

  • Install electronic components within devices, including final assembly and sub-assembly tasks of electronic assemblies on printed circuit boards, chassis panels and wires and cables.
  • Assemble components such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets into printed circuit cards to building intricate lifesaving chassis systems.
  • Read and interpret work orders, production drawings, blueprints, specification sheets and sample assemblies.
  • Identify electronic through-hole components and run simple component preparation machines.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, machines or other equipment to complete tasks.
  • Interpret materials provided by engineers and understand how individual components work to make the device functional is a plus.
  • May perform assembly operations under microscope or another magnifying device when required. 
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure parts and assemblies meet production, IPC, and customer specifications and standards.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness by meeting all productivity and quality objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with team and support staff to maintain continuous production at high quality levels.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures, rules and regulations.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO FLEX TO OTHER OPERATOR JOBS

Safety:  Ensure that all assignments are performed in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Provincial and Company safety and health regulations, and where applicable, proper personal protective equipment is utilized.


Pay is $17.47/hour plus $0.50/hour for 2nd shift with benefits. 2nd Shift hours: Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm 

(Saturday OT as needed) 

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent Required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions.
  • Ability to add and subtract whole numbers, fractions, and decimals using direct reading, gauges, rulers and scales.
  • Basic computer skills to access and follow assembly instructions or document completed tasks.
  • Must be quality conscious and possess the ability to meet production and quality standards.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and/or interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Flexibility to work overtime when needed, including occasional Saturday OT
  • Successful passing of a background check
