Description
The Wait Staff is responsible for delivering food and beverage service to all customers with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring a friendly, courteous, and professional experience. They play a key role in upholding the restaurant's quality standards and service excellence.
Requirements


Responsibilities:

  • Complete any reasonable job-related tasks as directed by Lead Staff, Floor Manager, and General Manager.
  • Always maintain the highest standards of service and hospitality.
  • Function as a part of a team that benefits the Casa Rio Team.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed by the end of the shift.
  •  Arrive dressed and ready to set up for lunch and dinner guests.
  • Report for duty in accordance with the roster and standards of appearance as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Serve patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
  •  Provide information to assist with food and beverage selections.
  • Present ordered choices promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Upsell when appropriate.
  •  Arrange table settings.
  • Always keep tables clean and tidy.
  • Deliver checks and collect payments.
  • Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff.
  • Adhere to all relevant Health Department rules and regulations and customer service guidelines.




Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Restaurant Server.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Must have Food Handlers and TABC certification.
  • Proven experience in developing constructive working and interpersonal relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • 1-2 years of experience with ordering information systems.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with good time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Active listening abilities.
  • Good physical condition.
  • Customer-centric approach.
  • Clear and effective speech.
  • Ability to lift and balance between 10 to 30 lbs.
  • Unwavering attention to detail and adherence to restaurant standards.
