Bilingual Senior Member Solutions Specialist

Cross Valley Federal Credit Union is looking for a full time candidate who would be

Responsible for managing and collecting on delinquent accounts within a credit union setting.  

 Monitors and reports on trends in member delinquencies to establish strategies to recoup assets and funds. 

- Utilize strong communication skills to negotiate payment arrangements with members

- Review and analyze member accounts to determine appropriate collection strategies

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member inquiries and issues in a timely manner

- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to collections

- Provide excellent member service while assisting them with their financial obligations

Process loan payments made with credit cards and set up automatic payments

Prepares monthly board reports on collections, charge offs, and fraud. 

Requirements

Must have previous experience in collections and debt resolution 

Must be proficient in communicating and understanding both English and Spanish

High school diploma or equivalent

1 Year of related work experience preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills via phone, in person and electronic channels

Must be proficient in relevant software and technology 

Some travel involved in relation to  ongoing certifications and trainings

Starting rate is $18.50 per hour, experience will be taken into consideration
