Are you a commercial truck parts expert who knows your way around engines, suspensions, and VINs? Want to work from home, on your own terms, while still making a difference for customers who need you? This role is for you.


We’re a growing 35 year company that helps businesses and fleets spec, source, and solve their commercial truck parts needs—from heavy-duty engine components to trailer lighting kits. As our Remote Parts Consultant, you’ll be the go-to expert helping customers identify, source, and order the right parts the first time.


 

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide expert parts recommendations for Class 3–8 trucks and trailers
     
  • Help customers troubleshoot and spec the correct components
     
  • Use VIN lookup tools, catalogs, and supplier databases to match parts
     
  • Communicate via phone, email, and chat—no in-person sales
     
  • Build strong relationships with repeat customers and fleet accounts
     
  • Collaborate with our internal team and suppliers to ensure fast, accurate order fulfillment

Requirements

 

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years experience in commercial truck/trailer parts (OEM or aftermarket)
     
  • Deep understanding of drivetrain, suspension, brake, and electrical systems
     
  • Strong VIN decoding and parts lookup skills (OE catalogs, Aftermarket cross-referencing)
     
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
     
  • Comfortable with remote tools (email, CRM, chat, VoIP)
     
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and organized









Salary Description
$40,000–$65,000+ year / (Base + Commission)
