TITLE: Dispatcher

DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO: Dispatch Supervisor

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:


The Dispatcher, under the direction of the Dispatch Supervisor, expedites the flow of communication to support our vision of being the obvious choice for our employees and customers.


Essential Functions:


  • Address employee and customer concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Communication with employees and other departments as needed.
  • Monitoring of Dashboard and communication with supervisor if concerns noted.
  • Review of previous days statistics to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Check in process at end of day.
  • Verification of route completion.
  • Retrieval and charging of tablets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to convey Tiger Sanitation as the obvious choice for our customers, employees and community.

Education and Experience

  • Two (2) years’ experience working in dispatch or logistics, preferred.


Working Conditions


This position will be based in a climate-controlled building with extended periods of standing and using manual dexterity to operate computers and telephonic equipment.
