Part-Time Door-to-Door Sales Representative

SPS PoolCare is seeking a part-time Door-to-Door Sales Representative to join our Austin, TX team, 


As a Door-to-Door Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to identify and approach potential customers in residential areas, introduce them to our services, and drive sales growth. You will work directly with homeowners to assess their needs and promote our range of swimming pool services, from regular maintenance to special repairs or upgrades.


Pay: $15/hour + commission

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Outreach: Go door-to-door in designated neighborhoods to generate interest in our swimming pool services.
  • Customer Engagement: Build rapport with homeowners, explain our services, answer questions, and address concerns to effectively communicate the value of our offerings.
  • Sales Presentation: Present customized solutions based on each homeowner’s needs, whether it's pool cleaning, maintenance, equipment upgrades, repairs, or seasonal services.
  • Lead Generation: Collect contact information and schedule follow-up appointments for in-home consultations or service sign-ups.
  • Sales Conversion: Close sales by securing contracts for pool services, ensuring accurate service details and pricing information.
  • Feedback & Reporting: Keep accurate records of all interactions, track sales metrics, and report on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Promotional Efforts: Distribute promotional materials and brochures to potential customers to enhance visibility of our services.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during all stages of the sales process and follow up on service delivery to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous sales experience, preferably in door-to-door or direct sales, or experience in the home services industry is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage your schedule effectively.
  • Goal-Oriented: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a commission-based environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to assess customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Dependability: Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
  • Physical Stamina: Comfortable walking door-to-door in residential neighborhoods, sometimes in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid Driver’s License: Ability to travel to different areas as required.
