General Summary: As an Injection Mold Press Operator at DECKED, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the efficient operation of injection molding machines and the successful assembly of components to meet our high-quality standards. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and commitment to teamwork will be essential in ensuring that our products maintain their superior quality and durability.

         

Essential Job Functions:

· Perform assembly tasks, combining molded components and other parts to create finished products.

· Utilize hand tools, fixtures, and equipment to assemble parts accurately and efficiently.

· Conduct visual and functional checks of assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.

· Identify and report any defects or deviations from specifications during the assembly process.

· Quality Assurance:

· Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines to ensure consistent product quality.

· Conduct inspections of finished products to verify that they meet DECKED's specifications and standards.

· Participate in quality improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions for process enhancements.

· Safety and Cleanliness:

· Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

· Keep work area clean and organized to optimize efficiency and safety.

· Team Collaboration:

· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and meet customer demands.

· Communicate effectively to report any issues or updates during the production process.

· Assist and support colleagues in different areas as needed.

       

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in injection molding machine operation and assembly is preferred.

· Basic understanding of injection molding processes and equipment.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.

· Proficient in using hand tools and small power tools for assembly tasks.

· Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet production targets.

· Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward process improvement.

· Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
