About This Role:
We are seeking a Program Manager with deep experience in IoT, RF(Radio Frequency), LTE, or BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) devices, preferably within the medical, logistics or automotive device industry. This role is critical in driving cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product management, customer success, and sales to ensure successful product launch and complete PLM. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing both hardware and software development processes while aligning system-level design milestones with business goals.
This individual will play a pivotal role in coordinating product launch cycles with suppliers and manufacturing partners—whether contract manufacturers (CMs) or joint development manufacturers (JDMs)—ensuring timely execution while meeting the demanding timelines of customers who rely on our technology to keep fleet logistics and manufacturing lines operating smoothly.
Due to the nature of this role, the position will report into our Atlanta office.
Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product management, customer success, and sales to drive successful product launches.
- Product Launch Planning: Develop and execute launch plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer timelines.
- Hardware & Software Development Coordination: Oversee and continuously improve both hardware and software development processes to meet system-level design milestones efficiently.
- Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management: Work closely with CMs and JDMs to align production timelines with design cycles and launch schedules.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication between teams to ensure technical, operational, and business requirements are met.
- Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Identify potential bottlenecks and proactively mitigate risks to meet tight customer-driven deadlines.
- Timeline & Milestone Tracking: Define key milestones, track progress, and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Ensure programs are aligned with customer needs, especially in industries with mission-critical logistics and manufacturing operations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors degree required
- 5+ years of program management experience in IoT, RF, Lora, LTE, BLE, or similar connected device industries.
- Experience in medical, logistics or consumer electronic devices is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software development processes, including system-level design and integration.
- Familiarity with design cycles and launch cycles with contract manufacturers or joint development manufacturers.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-tech environments.
- Ability to drive teams to aggressive timelines while maintaining high-quality execution.
- Strong problem-solving and risk management skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with fleet logistics or manufacturing technology solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the medical device or automotive industries.
- Background in product lifecycle management (PLM) and supply chain coordination.
- PMP, Agile, or other relevant certifications.
