FLEXTRADES is a rapidly growing national provider of manufacturing and engineering services, and we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Engineering Services Lead to help grow our Engineering practice with new and existing customers.
As the Engineering Services Lead,?you’ll be responsible for leading direct and partnered business development initiatives to uncover clients’ engineering resourcing challenges that would benefit from FLEXTRADES’ unique business model for providing technical workforce solutions. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will partner with a team of Client Solutions Managers to consult new and existing clients on their engineering and manufacturing challenges. You will also have responsibility for generating business with new customers by conducting direct sales efforts
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate internally with Sales Managers and Client Solutions Managers (CSMs) to help scale FlexTrades’ Engineering offerings throughout existing Customer Portfolio
- Coordinate and Execute Partnered Sales Strategy with CSM’s and Business Development Representatives (BDR’s) to increase the pipeline of qualified Engineering opportunities, secure new business and elevate others on the sales team in the process.
- Participate in 5-6 Client Meetings per Week between Direct and Partnered Sales efforts.
- Supplement time spent in partnered selling efforts with up to 20-25% direct selling to prospects. This includes outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Develop Prospecting Cadences and messaging with Lead Generation and Marketing departments targeting specific Engineering accounts and stakeholders.
- Network with Engineering & Manufacturing Associations on behalf of FlexTrades
- Serve as an extension of Technical Solutions department to gather in-depth technical requirements for client projects. Convey project technical requirements to Technical Recruiting Team and evaluate bench workforce.
- Contribute to Marketing content creation efforts and account-based marketing.
- Gather client information and record interaction summaries and details in our CRM, with high degrees of accuracy and consistency.
- Act as a FlexTrades Core Values champion, by Moving the Line, Being the Next, Elevating Others, Pulling the Wagon, Enjoying the Journey, and Giving Back.
- All other duties as assigned.
- 5+ Years Selling Engineering Workforce Solutions
- People Management, Solutions Design and/or Account Management preferred.
- Strong and proven history of B2B sales experience to industrial/manufacturing clientele
- Inspire and Influence team members without managing direct reports by modeling successful habits, techniques, and best practices.
- Experience with a B2B Sales Training Methodology
- Verifiable track record of establishing and growing multimillion dollar book of business
- Experience utilizing technology tools (MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and CRM)
- 10-15% Travel Required
- Bachelor’s Degree Required, preferably in an Engineering discipline.
