We are currently looking for a passionate Staff Accountant to help keep figures and budgets on track and assist the controller and other campus personnel with accounting functions and reports and process biweekly payroll.  With opportunities to create connections with our amazing residents and team members, you will also feel as if you have gained a new family! 

  

As a Staff Accountant at Beatitudes Campus, you'll be an energetic, passionate, and professional individual who is focused on radical hospitality, high-quality service, and living our Mission, Vision, and Core Values every day. You will help balance mission and margin by keeping figures and budgets on track, assisting the controller and other personnel with accounting functions and reports, and processing biweekly payroll. You'll also create connections with our amazing residents and team members, gaining a new family in the process. This is an on-site position, Monday through Friday. 


Responsibilities:

· Trial Balances and Reports: Assist in preparing Campus trial balances by creating and entering journal entries, reconciling balance sheet General Ledger Accounts, and preparing reconciliatory audit schedules monthly

· Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and credit card accounts

· Assist in developing and improving accounting processes and internal controls

· Interfund Transfers: Coordinate and communicate the transfer of funds between the Campus and other entities, including Resident Deposits

· Fixed Assets and Inventory: Maintain fixed assets, enhance capital purchasing processes, and standardize inventory controls

· Payroll processing on a bi-weekly basis

· Standardization and Confidentiality: Assist in standardizing work methods and maintain confidentiality of resident information

Requirements

   Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred
  • 1 year of payroll processing experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
