HR Senior Generalist - Hybrid

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. This role will be responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation administration, compliance, learning and development, and project management. The HR Generalist will spend approximately 25% of their time recruiting for Technical and Managerial-level roles while also providing strategic and operational HR support to ensure the effectiveness of our HR processes and initiatives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop and lead recruitment strategies.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to ensure a strong talent pipeline.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including offer negotiations and onboarding.

Performance Management

  • Partner with SpendMend leaders to provide coaching and development regarding employee relations matters
  • Support the implementation of the Paylocity Performance Management Module.
  • Administer Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and the progressive discipline process.
  • Oversee the annual review process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and fairness.

Compensation Administration

  • Assist in the administration of compensation programs and ensure market competitiveness.
  • Support merit and promotional increase processes.

Compliance

  • Manage HR reporting and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Oversee handbook and policy administration, ensuring updates reflect current legal and company requirements.
  • Ensure multi-state compliance with compensation, leave of absence policies, and paid leave regulations.

Learning and Development

  • Evaluate the Paylocity Learning Module for potential implementation.
  • Develop and administer new-hire 30-60-90 day training programs.
  • Implement skill-based training programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Design and facilitate manager/supervisor training programs.
  • Oversee compliance training to ensure all employees meet regulatory requirements.

Project Management

  • Lead the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support system implementation projects to enhance HR efficiency.
  • Develop and implement HR programs that align with company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, with a focus on recruiting, performance management, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and multi-state compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS systems preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
