We seek a skilled Lumber Forklift Operator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience lifting HEAVY MATERIALS and operating forklifts, capable of lifting to 75 pounds. This role is crucial in ensuring materials' smooth and secure movement throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport lumber and other heavy materials within the facility.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts and other loading equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Organize and manage storage spaces by accurately stacking and arranging lumber.
• Work collaboratively with team members to optimize workflow and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Follow company safety standards and comply with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform routine heavy lumber lifting to 75 pounds using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Participate in inventory management and ensure accurate record-keeping of materials handled.
• Promptly report any safety concerns or equipment issues to the supervisor.

 Requirements:

• Proven experience as a forklift operator, focusing on handling heavy lumber.
• Valid forklift certification/license preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and maneuver lumber up to 75 pounds.
• Familiarity with lumber materials and handling procedures is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
