Job Title: Lead Injection Molding Operator (TPE & Silicone)
Location: St Petersburg, FL
Pay: $25-$32/hour + Benefits (Based on experience)
Shift: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri, 7 AM-3:30 PM

What You’ll Do:
- Operate and monitor TPE and silicone injection molding presses (15-ton to 125-ton range).
- Set up molds, adjust press parameters, and troubleshoot process issues.
- Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality specs in a Class 7 cleanroom environment.
- Perform basic maintenance and keep equipment in top shape.
- Follow ISO 13485 and FDA protocols to maintain compliance.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with injection molding (TPE and/or silicone expertise a must).
- Deep knowledge of thermoplastics and silicone materials—how they flow, cure, and behave.
- Solid grasp of press operations: hydraulics, temperature control, and cycle optimization.
- Comfort working in a Class 7 cleanroom under strict regulatory standards.
- Sharp eye for quality—spot defects, read gauges, and tweak processes like a pro.
- Team vibe, safety-first mindset, and a knack for solving problems on the fly.
Bonus Points:
· Extensive Silicone molding experience
· Experience with small-tonnage presses (15-125 tons).
· Familiarity with ISO 13485 or FDA-regulated production.
· Mold setup or maintenance skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
GMP/ISO awareness as they apply to medical/pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Must have at least 5+ years of experience molding TPE’s and/or LSR’s.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Reports and interprets data in a clear, timely, concise fashion. Inform supervisor of progress/problems. Positive verbal and written communication, interdepartmental and other departments, is essential.
MATHEMATICAL/ MECHANICAL APTITUDE
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as volume, volume change, density (specific gravity), percentages, area, circumference, and shrinkage. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Understanding machine components and basic mechanical concepts
Performing routine maintenance
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Root Cause Analysis: Ability to analyze issues and determine their root causes quickly. Process Optimization: Knowledge of how to adjust machine parameters to improve efficiency and product quality.
