Working at SITE Technologies:
We’re looking for an experienced Roofing Trade Manager who is a subject matter expert in the commercial and industrial roofing field. This role guides and informs the current and future development of SITE Technologies’ Roofing Product including providing expertise to customers with proactive, predictive, actionable data designed to extend the lifespan of their roof assets, saving them time and money.
What You’ll Do:
- Utilize roofing industry knowledge to perform and oversee roof assessment processes on low-slope roofing systems on primarily commercial and industrial facilities.
- Drive the refinement and scaled implementation of SITE’s Roof Condition Index (RCI) scoring.
- Provide roofing repair recommendations to clients catered to client type.
- Leverage deep domain expertise and industry knowledge to guide product development teams to ensure features and functionality align with real-world application.
- Act as a key liaison between customers and the product development team by engaging directly with product users to understand their needs, expectations, and challenges. Gather insights to inform product development and recommend new features or improvements to ensure the product continually evolves to meet customer demands and industry standards.
- Partner closely with the product management, engineering/product development teams to translate industry requirements and insights into actionable product features.
- Oversee the quality and accuracy of trade-related content, tools, and features within the product, ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer expectations.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, driving the incorporation of emerging trends and best practices in the skilled trades into the product.
- Represent skilled trades teams in executive meetings and customer interactions, advocating for the needs of both the product team and end users.
- Develop and manage a thought leadership strategy to showcase the company’s trade expertise through events such as lunch and learns/educational seminars, prepares industry white-papers and thought leadership articles, and recommends new, innovative trade products to SITEs customers.
- Attend sales meetings and tradeshows as needed as a subject matter expert to present SITE’s use case and value.
- Work with the SITE customer success team to ensure all customers have access to the expertise they require.
- May be responsible for other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For…
- Ten or more years of commercial/industrial low slope roofing related experience specifically providing condition assessments of roof assemblies.
- Prior work experience in different regions throughout the US and first-hand knowledge of regional nuances of installed roof assemblies.
- Familiarity with various components of the building envelope and how they interact with the roof assembly.
- Deep knowledge of the best practices for preventative maintenance as well as capital replacements.
- Experience assessing and reporting on the condition of common low-slope roof assemblies (BUR, EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, & Standing Seam Systems).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong presentation skills with a proven ability to engage customers and prospects at trade and industry events.
- Passion for delivering high-quality, customer-centric solutions that meet the real-world needs of users.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, G-Suite and other office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to execute hands-on.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proven ability to perform in a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Other important information about this position:
- This position is a remote position that requires some flexibility to work across time zones.
- Occasional travel will be required.
- This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.

- Salary range: $120K - $150K
