We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Outdoor Recreation Equipment Technician to oversee our land operations while ensuring our fleet of bikes and e-bikes are well-maintained and ready for adventure.


What You’ll Do

Operations & Equipment Management

• Manage and coordinate the repair and maintenance of our fleet of bikes, e-bikes, kayaks, and paddleboards.

• Oversee equipment logistics for deliveries and returns, ensuring seamless service.

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to keep gear in top condition.

• Handle inventory management, ordering parts and supplies to ensure smooth operations.

• Lead a team of technicians and recreation attendants, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

E-Bike Maintenance & Repair

• Diagnose and repair e-bike components, including motors, batteries, and electrical systems.

• Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and safety checks on e-bikes and traditional bikes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to small bike motors, electric connectivity, and battery performance.

• Assist with assembling and testing new e-bikes before they go into rentals or sales.

• Stay informed on the latest e-bike technologies, repair techniques, and industry trends.


Requirements

Who You Are

• A self-starter with a solid work ethic.

• Passionate about an active, outdoor lifestyle and adventure sports.

• Experienced in bike and e-bike repair (or eager to learn).

• Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

• A natural leader, capable of managing a team and operations.

• Organized with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

• Proficient in basic PC skills and able to handle inventory and transactions.

• Able to lift up to 55 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.

• Holds a valid driver’s license with a clean record.


High school diploma required; some college preferred.

Bike mechanic experience a plus, but we provide training.
