The Position

Smallwoods is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to maintain and support our technology needs. The ideal candidate will be able to build and maintain React / Frontend apps to plan for growth to meet future needs. This is a role for someone who likes to take ownership, enjoys working in a quickly changing environment, has a great eye for detail, and is energized by making people’s lives easier and more productive. The Person

The ideal candidate is experienced in the following technology areas:

• Knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with REST API’s
• Experience with React and large scale React Apps
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration / Deployment

The Position

• Responsible for building and maintaining react apps in Shopify
• Also, maintaining, editing and building new Shopify themes
• Work with design team to create well designed UI/UX
• Work with back end to create scalable apps and services

The Past Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in an information technology field or related engineering/technology field
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• The ability to lift 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license
• Good communication skills
• Strong team-oriented player
• Customer service focused
• Strong attention to detail
