We are a distinguished employment law firm based in Los Angeles, California, seeking a full-time Associate Attorney in our Glendale office. We are looking for confident, energetic, and sharp attorneys who are quick on-their-feet thinkers, aggressive and fair litigators in adversarial litigations.


Area of practice: Exclusively labor and employment matters, on behalf of employees in California, with focus on single-plaintiff / FEHA employment lawsuits.


Title: Associate Attorney (Litigation – FEHA / Single-Plaintiff) 


Location: Glendale, CA (on-site preferred; may consider hybrid on-site/remote)


Hours: Full-Time


Salary: $110,000 - $150,000+ (Commensurate with Experience)


License Requirements: Active California State Bar license required, with no disciplinary history.


Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of in-court litigation and deposition-handling experience preferred, coupled with a working knowledge of law and motion briefing and argument
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
  • Active California State Bar license, with no disciplinary history
  • Experience in plaintiff or defense side employment law is a plus
  • Superior oral advocacy skills and confidence
  • Great analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail, honesty, dependability, computer savvy, and multi-tasking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email / Calendar, Adobe Acrobat, Apple Operating System, and other Litigation Software

Responsibilities:

  • Handle FEHA / single-plaintiff employment actions from inception through conclusion
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs
  • Attend court hearings and trials
  • Assist in client meetings and consultations
  • Manage caseloads and ensure deadlines are met
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards
