What We’re Looking For


Travelpro is seeking a Retention Marketing Manager to join our eCommerce team, on-site preferred.  In this role you will own our email and SMS channels, spearhead retention initiatives, and design a compelling loyalty program tailored to our semidurable product category (luggage). Because customers may not buy frequently, the focus will be on building strong, long-term brand engagement through value-added content, post-purchase support, accessories, and community-driven loyalty.  


What You’ll Do


This role requires deep expertise in data-driven marketing, customer segmentation, and creative storytelling to keep our brand top-of-mind for those infrequent but critical repurchase or upgrade moments. You will also:

  • Develop and execute email and SMS strategies that engage customers throughout the extended lifecycle of semi-durable goods.
  • Implement segmentation and personalization to optimize customer engagement and retention.
  • Manage our Registria account, ensuring a frictionless product registration experience that enhances post-purchase engagement and enables customer support interactions.
  • Leverage Registria’s data to trigger targeted retention campaigns, nurture customer relationships, and drive accessory and repeat purchases.
  • Build and refine a loyalty program that encourages advocacy and engagement beyond transactional interactions.
  • Create and integrate content strategies (e.g., travel guides, luggage care tips) into lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing efforts align with product launches and brand messaging.
  • Analyze campaign performance and customer behavior data to refine strategies and improve ROI.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and stay informed on best practices in lifecycle and retention marketing.

  What You’ll Need 

  • A 4-year college degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 3 – 5+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing, ideally within an ecommerce or consumer brand setting.
  • Demonstrable success in retaining customers and building loyalty for products with longer purchasing cycles.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (Klaviyo, attentive, etc.) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, TripleWhale).
  • Strong analytical skills, with proven experience using data to segment audiences and personalize marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with customer-centric, non-transactional loyalty or ambassador programs a strong plus.
  • Ability to reason logically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Capacity to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach.
