The Responsibility

The Cleaner Team Lead role is the Two Bettys cleaning and process expert for specialty and deep cleaning practices in the field and is responsible for ensuring each service is completed effectively and efficiently. The Cleaner Team Lead reports directly to the assigned Service Manager.  

Responsibilities include helping cleaners troubleshoot problems as they arise; coaching cleaners regarding Two Bettys processes and core values; leading and delegating tasks to team members, confirm all needed tasks are completed per the applicable needs of the service type, evaluate quality of clean, communications with clients while in the field regarding priority of the tasks, scheduling updates, and general questions; and offering support to cleaners needing to improve workflows.  

Cleaner Team Leads are accountable for evaluating cleaner performance throughout the clean.  Partners with the Service Manager to build strong, supportive relationships with cleaners on their team and to ensure sufficient staff productivity and high employee engagement.

Responsible for supporting other teams when their counterparts are out of the office. 


The Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Tasks and responsibilities associated with this position include (but are not limited to) the following:       

  • Demonstrate high quality cleaning of scheduled one time specialty and deep cleans.
  • Demonstrate in field problem solving skills to ensure full completion and quality of scheduled services.
  • Demonstrate understanding and ability to execute all add on services provided by Two Bettys
  • Demonstrate understanding and ability to utilize all tools and equipment provided by Two Bettys to execute deep cleaning and specialty cleaning tasks
  • Utilize scheduled preparation time to develop a plan to execute each deep clean and ensure all needed tools and supplies are accounted for
  • Train, lead, and assign cleaners with tasks and priorities during one time specialty and deep cleans.
  • Track the timing of cleaners on your team to ensure completion of the clean without exceeding the scheduled bid of the clean
  • Providing written and verbal feedback for cleaners, trainers and the operations team.
  • Provide effective field support for cleaners and clients during the completion of scheduled one time specialty and deep cleans.
  • Perform walkthroughs at the end of one time cleans to confirm completion of required tasks and high quality of cleaning provided.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, and superior coaching to cleaners.
  • Participate and lead projects, and other duties as assigned as a result of company need.
  • Prioritize safety and insists that team members follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Participate in all company events, including company meetings and parties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 The Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds safely.
  • Ability to work on feet for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to bend, reach, climb step stool, etc. in an 8 hour day while providing field support.
  • Near visual acuity, fine motor manipulation and keyboarding skills for using computers and related software programs to fulfill administrative responsibilities. 

The Hours

Typically 30+ hours per week, spread over a 5-day work week, expanding and contracting as the business demands. 

Requirements

 The Skills Required

  • 1+ year computer/administration experience, including smartphone applications.
  • 6+ months’ Professional cleaning experience.
  • Reliable and insured transportation with a clear driving record.
  • Deliver results in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive responsibilities.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work independently to be productive and fulfill job duties.
  • Strong critical thinking skills for process improvement.
  • Use discretion with confidential information.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Give and receive feedback with care.

$18.50+ DOE
