As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of a Journeyman or more senior level Electrician to assist in the installation, alteration, addition and/or repair of electrical systems on commercial work sites. The ideal candidate should work from a position of “Safety First Always” and utilize all safety equipment and training provided to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.

Requirements
Core Responsibilities:
- Gather & prepare necessary tools & materials to be used at job site
- Maintain a clean & safe work area & secure material, tools & equipment in appropriate storage areas at the end of the work day
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks related to building and maintaining electrical systems
- Measure, cut, bend & install conduit & wire
- Install boxes & electrical devices
- Trace out short circuits
- Perform other project related duties assigned by crew leader or other senior electrician
Desired Qualifications:
- Must pass a drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid TDLR Apprentice License (or meet qualifications to obtain one)
- At least 1 year Commercial Electrical Experience preferred
- Have own hand tools; we will provide specialty tools
Essential Skills:
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts
- Ability to accept constructive criticism, follow directions and collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
