Description


The Leasing Agent will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote the property, attract prospective tenants, and maintain a high occupancy rate. They will also greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and ensure all move-in requirements are met. A strong emphasis is placed on customer service, sales, and relationship-building.


Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge of the property, its amenities, and the surrounding community to proactively promote and market the property.
  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy that effectively targets and attracts new prospects.
  • Conduct property tours, showcasing the property’s amenities and unit floor plans to prospective residents.
  • Provide timely and thorough follow-up to all prospect inquiries from various sources (e.g., prospect cards, emails, walk-ins, phone calls).
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of prospect sourcing information for tracking and analysis.
  • Collaborate with community outreach organizations to promote the property and generate interest among prospective tenants.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts and advertising campaigns, ensuring optimal return on investment.
  • Collect and analyze market data on competing properties to stay informed of trends and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure units are in pristine condition and ready for move-in before the scheduled tenant move-in date.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and sales acumen throughout the leasing process.

Requirements
  • A minimum of three (2) years of relevant leasing experience.
  • Fair Housing Certification is required or the willingness to obtain certification before engaging with prospective residents.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as necessary to meet leasing goals.

Physical Requirements:


Frequent bending, stooping and reaching in all directions, sitting for extended periods of time working at a desk. Representative use of digits due to keyboarding work. Will be required to walk with prospects to show units. Must be able to lift up to 20lbs.
