The Partners Group currently has an outstanding opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Datalytics team in Portland OR, as a Data Coordinator.
How you will make an impact at TPG
As a Data Coordinator, you will play a vital role in transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support our Employee Benefits Division and large group clients. Your work will directly impact decision-making by ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining data integrity, and identifying key trends. With your analytical skills and attention to detail, you will help drive efficient, data-informed strategies that enhance our client experience.
A typical day in this role
- Process, analyze, and maintain data for large group accounts (100+ plan participants) in the Employee Benefits Division
- Prepare accurate financial reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel, ensuring proper formulas and formatting
- Manage projects independently from start to finish, staying self-directed and organized while meeting deadlines
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity, paying close attention to detail in reporting and error-checking.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors, effectively communicating findings and resolving data-related issues
- Work behind the scenes, balancing multiple tasks while proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement
Key details
Location: Portland, OR; in-office with hybrid remote opportunities
Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri
Salary Range: $55,000-60,000 annually (DOE – salaried non-exempt)
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and ability to handle long periods of screen time.
Travel: Minimal
What you’ll bring to the table
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel (minimum), including formulas and formatting
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Self-directed and able to manage projects independently from start to finish
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
What will make you really stand out
- Previous work experience in payroll, accounting, or clerical roles
- Proficiency in data analysis and financial reporting
- Familiarity with reporting tools and data visualization techniques
- Prior experience working with health insurance carriers or employee benefits data
- Ability to work efficiently behind the scenes while ensuring accuracy and data integrity
