Requirements

The Renewal and Cash Collection Specialist is critical to client retention. This position ensures prompt invoice payments and cultivates strong client relationships. It involves processing renewals, overseeing collections, and collaborating with the Client Services team to maintain a high client retention rate.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Client Order Processing, Invoicing, and Collections
  • Process client orders and generate invoices utilizing order management systems such as Salesforce, Maxio, and QuickBooks.
  • Manage assigned client accounts to ensure payments are received by their due dates.
  • Supervise renewal opportunities in Salesforce, progressing them through the renewal process to completion.
  • Comprehend client procurement cycles and purchasing processes to guarantee orders align with client payment requirements.
  • Examine contracts, purchase orders, and agreements to ensure punctual and precise order processing.
  • Identify accounts with a risk of non-renewal and adhere to escalation procedures, notifying Client Services and Finance leadership as needed.
  • Conduct collection activities, including follow-ups and escalations, to ensure prompt payments.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive subscription renewals.
  • Evaluate client needs, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide billing and order processing support to internal teams as required.
  • Maintain updated process documentation to reflect current workflows and procedures.
  • Assist with processing new sales and upsell orders when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in client service, billing, or related fields.
  • CRM and Billing system knowledge
  • Strong ability to establish rapport and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Data-driven and strong analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
