Responsible for leading the commercial operations of UK sales, with oversight of business planning, revenue growth, tender and contract support, and key account strategy. This role is critical in shaping and executing sales strategies that align with company objectives, ensuring the delivery of ambitious business targets, and driving market share expansion.
The position oversees customer service operations outside of North America (International Customer Support), with responsibility for managing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences through effective processes, best-in-class training, and the implementation of ambitious KPIs. The job holder is also responsible for promoting cross-functional collaboration with marketing, supply chain, and QARA teams to ensure commercial success and operational alignment.

The role will report directly to the Senior Director of UK Business Operations with a functional reporting line to the VP Global Sales. Contracts and Tenders will have a matrix reporting line into this role. This role will also have direct reporting responsibility for the Customer Service function out of North America.
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies for diverse customer groups and product lines in the UK to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Tender and Contract Support: Support the entire lifecycle of tenders and contracts, ensuring compliance, profitability, and strategic alignment with business goals.
- Key Account Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with high-value customers, driving retention, growth, and alignment with business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales and customer support team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
- Customer Service Oversight: Ensure delivery of exceptional global customer support (excluding North America) by establishing and monitoring KPIs, optimising procedures, and addressing escalated issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and QARA teams to align on product delivery, compliance, and market strategies, ensuring seamless execution and operational excellence.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor sales and service performance, analyse market trends, and present actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to senior management.
- Growth and Market Development: Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, including market expansion, product line growth, and service improvements.
- Commercial Planning: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for the sales and customer service functions, ensuring profitability and alignment with long-term goals.
- Industry Representation: Act as a senior representative of the company at industry conferences and events, strengthening the organisation’s market presence and reputation.
