As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Float, you will provide essential care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a positive role model and encouraging independence
  • Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
  • Administering medications as needed
  • Supporting clients in community and recreational activities
  • Using company vehicles to transport clients to outings

This full-time position guarantees 32-40 hours per week with a flexible schedule between 7 AM - 9 PM. As a Float DSP, you’ll work across eight different programs within 30 minutes of Madison, filling shifts based on program needs.

Pay ranges from $18.25-$18.50/hour based on certifications.

Requirements

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Float Requirements:

  • A high school diploma/GED
  • 18 years of age or over
  • Active driver's license
  • DSP certification and 24-hour CRMA certification required
  • 1 year of DSP experience preferred
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English
