Job Description:
Arcadia Beverage is a pasteurized cold fill scale contract packager of non-alcoholic / non-carbonated beverages for major retailers and food service distributors. We make orange juices, lemonades, and teas in ready to drink bottles.
We are currently looking for a Mixing Operator Team Member in the Arden, NC area. This position is responsible for weighing and measuring bulk ingredients into manufacturing tanks for blending. The hours for this shift will be 12-hour shifts; 6PM to 6AM with alternating 3-day weekends.
Main Activities:
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Operate mixing equipment per established procedures.
- Complete assigned paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Performs or assists with mixing or staging of ingredients to be mixed and verifies the ingredients are correct.
- Ensures that mixing instructions are followed from batch ticket accurately.
- Visually inspects quality of each batch before sending samples to the lab.
- Work to produce a quality product in a safe, clean manner following GMP’s.
- Supports daily operations by mixing products per the current schedule.
- Reports food safety and quality issues to the Operations Manager.
