Position Summary

We are seeking skilled Wind Turbine Technicians – Install to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and commissioning wind turbines at project sites across North America. You will work in a team-based environment, ensuring that installations are completed safely, on time, and according to manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install wind turbine components, including towers, nacelles, hubs, and blades.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of turbine systems.
  • Follow manufacturer installation manuals and technical documentation.
  • Adhere to OSHA, GWO, and site-specific safety protocols.
  • Assist with torquing, tensioning, cabling, and alignment of turbine components.
  • Operate rigging, hoists, and power tools in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Document work progress using job site reports and checklists.

Requirements
  • 1+ year of wind turbine installation or maintenance experience preferred (entry-level candidates with mechanical or electrical backgrounds may be considered).  
  • Comfortable working at heights exceeding 300 feet. 
  •  Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in physically demanding environments.  
  • Strong understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.  
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.  
  • GWO (Global Wind Organization) training preferred (can be provided).  
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
