Flexi Software is a provider of enterprise accounting software with a focus on insurance, financial institutions, and other markets with complex accounting needs. Flexi was founded in 1992 and today serves customers across the United States and internationally. The company’s software powers billions of financial transactions annually. Flexi is looking for paid Software Development Interns for Summer 2025.

BASIC DUTIES:

• Software Development – Plan, design and implement functional enhancements to the application and architecture
• Strategic Planning – Participate with internal teams in developing enhancements to existing applications and in developing new product offerings, based on market opportunities and customer feedback
• Product Optimization – Debug and resolve system flaws discovered internally or reported by clients; work closely with support team
• Maintain existing and establish new processes to ensure a high level of internal efficiency, productivity, and client satisfaction

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Self-starter with a proven ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be interested in hands on software development
• Ability to quickly learn financial/accounting concepts relevant to the product and user experience
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and the Microsoft technology stack
• Experience with C#, C++, and JavaScript
• Database knowledge of SQL and Oracle

This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 3 in-person days per week in our Shelton, CT office.
