Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and innovative STREAM Lab Teacher to engage students in Pre-K through 8th grade in an integrated curriculum that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. The STREAM Lab Teacher will design and deliver hands-on experiences across Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Math. This position emphasizes project-based learning using tools such as drone simulators on Mac computers, Minecraft Education, Lego Robotics, and other tinker/maker space resources while incorporating Catholic values throughout instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement a dynamic STREAM curriculum aligned with Catholic teachings and academic standards for PK-8th grade students.

· Facilitate hands-on learning experiences with emerging technologies, including drone simulators, Minecraft Education, Lego Robotics, and other maker space tools.

· Integrate Catholic faith and Gospel values into STREAM lessons and activities.

· Foster a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that encourages problem-solving, innovation, and inquiry.

· Collaborate with classroom teachers to enhance interdisciplinary learning and support curriculum integration across subjects.

· Guide students in developing 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.

· Maintain and organize STREAM lab materials, equipment, and technology resources.

· Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and developmental levels of all students.

· Assess and evaluate student learning through various formative and summative assessment tools.

· Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in STREAM education and instructional technology.

· Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and STREAM initiatives.

· Support the Catholic mission of the school by modeling Gospel values and participating in faith-based activities.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM-related field, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).

· Valid teaching certification or the ability to obtain certification.

· Experience working with PK-8th grade students in a formal educational setting.

· Proficiency with instructional technology, including Mac computers, drone simulators, Minecraft Education, and Lego Robotics.

· Strong understanding of interdisciplinary and project-based learning methodologies.

· Commitment to integrating Catholic teachings and values into instruction.

· Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

· Creativity, flexibility, and a growth mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with maker space environments and hands-on learning tools.

· Background in faith-based education.

· Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
