We have an Temporary, FT Summer Opening for a Warehouse Associate


We are looking for people who want to learn our business from the ground up as they build experience over the summer. This is a full time temporary position that is a great opportunity for college students who are home for the summer, or a high school graduate who will be starting college in the fall. Starting in warehouse operations you will have the opportunity to see and learn our products, our processes and our systems; our customer service model and our enterprise resource planning system as you work through the summer with us.


Opportunities will start in late May and continue into mid-late August.

DRUG TESTING REQUIREMENTS:

All applicants must submit to a pre-employment drug screening and physical. Any offer of employment will be conditional on passing these exams.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations

using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with

problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Employee must have valid driver’s license.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
