POSITION SCOPE:
- Assists the Project Managers and Engineers in the planning, budgeting and logistics of assigned projects.
- Assists in the responsibility of upholding project standards and compliance to adhere to Company guidelines and specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Records all meeting minutes on behalf of the Project Engineers.
- Reviews logs for accuracy and completion regarding Architect’s Supplemental Instructions (ASI), Request for Information (RFIs), submittals, MBE, hiring, quality control, material delivery, daily briefings, energy and sustainability, etc.
- Reviews warranty and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) closeout document information for accuracy.
- Develops and writes assigned scopes for review.
- Reviews and processes subcontractor applications for payment and liens.
- Prepares and issues RFIs (Request for Information) independently.
- Reviews subcontractor change orders in Procore for validity and completeness.
- Prepares assigned Budget Analysis line items for Project Manager review.
- Reviews all submittals and shop drawings as assigned by the Project Manager.
- Shadows Project Manager during project budget initiation and submission.
- Prepares for Company internal project kick-off meetings, for Project Manager review.
- Participates in the project schedule management and updating.
- Prepares assigned Budget Analysis line items for Project Manager review.
- Creates and reviews safety observations and inspections. Issues and closes safety observations for PPE, fall hazard and scaffolding.
- Performs weekly safety inspections.
- Prepares for pre-installation conference by notating key items from submittals, schedule safety, etc. for others.
- Creates and completes daily log of quality control observations for weekly inspections.
- Creates and prepares pre-punch list and architect punch list data for distribution.
- Adheres to the Company’s key values of quality, dependability, and integrity.
- Other duties as assigned.
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
- 1+ year of Project Engineer experience.
- 1+ year of leadership experience.
- Procore certification.
- Awareness of building codes, OSHA and applicable local safety regulations and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and effectively lead a project team for discrete portions of a project.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Project.
- Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to lift 50 pounds for moving equipment on and off shelves.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- May require travel beyond a typical one-hour job site commute.
- Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
- On-call availability to address issues at the jobsite.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Annual salary range: $61,000 - $95,000 based on qualifications and experience.
