Signing Bonus: $1,500

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00/hour, plus bonuses

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, on call rotation

The Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of the property. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance and repair work, as well as excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service. 


Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform advanced maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and pool and spa. 
  • Assist in mentoring and training for Maintenance Technicians, Grounds, and Housekeeping staff, offering troubleshooting support and guidance on maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to proactively identify maintenance issues, implement solutions, and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
  • Assist in executing preventative maintenance programs, ensuring all major systems and equipment remain in optimal condition.
  • Support the Maintenance Supervisor by helping manage vendor relationships, coordinating work orders, and assisting with capital project oversight when necessary.
  • Lead or assist in the management of unit turnovers, including diagnosing and resolving more challenging maintenance concerns before move-ins.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of work orders while maintaining detailed records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours.
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring and requesting supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
  • Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation and provide support in urgent situations.
  • Must provide your own basic hand tools. Roundhouse will provide power tools and any larger qualifying machinery.
  • Follow all safety procedures as outlined in company policies and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and always represent the company in a positive manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience in maintenance roles, with expertise in multiple trades such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry preferred.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex maintenance issues independently.
  • Leadership skills or prior experience mentoring maintenance staff.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions.
