The Accounting Manager oversees and manages all accounting functions for the company while complying with applicable laws/rules and generally accepted accounting principles. The Accounting Manager compiles, maintains, and provides financial information to management for operating the business in a superior manner. The Accounting Manager ensures all accounting work is performed with the highest degree of accuracy.

Starting pay: $52,478.00
Duties:
- Manages the company’s finances in alignment with the strategic plan and goals of the company
- Creates the annual budget for review and approval
- Manages the company’s financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts and financial assets
- Performs daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting tasks
- Handles the company’s transactions and debts and does cash flow forecasting
- Performs the company’s financial audits
- Monitors and analyzes financial accounting data
- Creates financial reports based on data analysis
- Creates, regularly reviews, and updates all accounting procedures and practices.
- Maintains a high level of knowledge regarding changing laws/rules, and how they impact the company and accounting functions.
- Evaluates and makes decisions to resolve accounting issues, working with whatever parties may be impacted.
- Manages the Accounting Assistant.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 5 years experience managing an accounting department in a 10 million or larger business.
- Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge and skills to perform all aspects of the job.
- Excellent understanding of all laws/rules and accounting principals.
- Strong experience and skills with accounting software and databases
- Superior data management and data analysis skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
