Reports To

The Human Resources Intern will report to the Human Resources Manager. 


Job Summary

The Human Resources Intern assist with general Human Resource functions that support the business including employee communication, social media, as well as support various HR initiatives such as employee engagement, recruiting and hiring, and driving the employment brand for the organization.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Help maintain and update records of new and existing staff.
  • Assist in the maintenance and optimization of HR systems.
  • Assist with administration of policies.
  • Help administer Human Resources communications, employee engagement activities, and EP² social media.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts including coordinating candidate screening and hiring processes.
  • Assist with facilitating the onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Assist with addressing employee questions and concerns.
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Working towards a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • Related Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hiring processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.


Physical Requirements

  • Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for the regular operation of a computer.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly.
  • Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Occasional exposure to typical manufacturing production physical hazards.
