Kids Pastor
Description

To serve the church by providing leadership, developing, managing, and coordinating an effective and comprehensive Kids Ministry, to evangelize, baptize, serve in the ordinances of the church, while supporting the mission of Indian Rocks Church and Christian School. To provide leadership, training, and supervision to staff and volunteer ministry staff within your ministry area.

  • Must give testimony and evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and sense the call of God to a serving ministry.
  • Develop, direct and communicate the vision, mission, and ministry of the church through the Kids Ministry, in cooperation with multiple ministries, committees, and membership. 
  • Provide opportunities for small and large group studies, special programs, missions, and camps to build relationships, offering opportunities for evangelism, missions, discipleship, and outreach.
  • Prepare and deliver sermons, teachings, and spiritual instruction for the church and Kids Ministry, nurturing membership in doctrines and growth.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage the Kids Ministry Staff and volunteers to build an effective ministry program.


Requirements
  • Education: Must have completed or be actively pursuing a College and/or seminary degree desired for ministry work.
  • Experience: Must have a verifiable ministry experience working with youth.
  • Demonstrate a consistent Christian lifestyle as referenced by the, Mission Statement, Statement of Faith of Indian Rocks, and Leadership Guidelines of Indian Rocks
  • Must be an active member of Indian Rocks with regular attendance in worship services, involvement in an Indian Rocks Life Group or Small Group and Commitment to systematic stewardship and faithful in tithing.
  • Responsible to perform the other duties as assigned and approved by supervising personnel to include, but not limited to: Lead Pastor, Church Administrator, Associate Pastors, Generations Pastor or Personnel Committee.
