Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. delivers confidence through our products and our people. The Wichita location is seeking an Assembler to join our Door Mill and Manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate is a team player who is detail oriented and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. We are looking for an assembler who is ready to jump into daily manufacturing processes including; pulling and loading doors, working with hand and power tools, laying out and adjoining door components, and loading completed doors.

Responsibilities Include:

· Stage door products for manufacturing.

· Operate forklift and other automated equipment when necessary.

· Load and unload materials on various door assembly equipment.

· Correctly complete manufacturing documentation.

· Follow all safety procedures and personal protection requirements.

· Ability to use a tape measure and calculate basic math.

· Prior experience operating a fork lift

· Can lift 50lbs repetitively and 100 lbs. in a team lift.

· Permanent authorization to work in the United States.

· 18 Years or older.

· Reliable transportation.

· Follow all PPE requirements.

· Overtime as needed.

Preferred Experience

· Knowledge of lumber and building materials.

· Previous experience working in assembly or manufacturing.
