Job Overview:
The Café Attendant is responsible for preparing foods and drinks in the café daily. The attendant prepares the café use for the following business day. The attendant cleans the cafe while following established health and safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares sandwiches and drinks for Jordan Valley staff and facility patrons.
- Maintains the café’s cleanliness and safety.
- Cleans equipment and surrounding area.
- Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job-related hazards.
- Manages the cash flow of the café, including running the register and generating daily usage reports.
- Manages the inventory of food and beverage at both the café and the breakfast program at Benton facility and other JVCHC facilities.
- Keeps track of who is on the breakfast club and coffee club (staff).
- Must have good money management skills, and be able to count back change.
- Responsible for sanitation during food preparation.
- Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a team to facilitate the Clinic’s ability to meet its goals and objectives.
- Attains all agreed to goals and objectives within specified time frames, as part of the Clinic’s overall mission.
- Responsibly follows the Clinic Exposure Control Plans/Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens.
- Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.

Required Qualifications:
